Under the expert guidance of a Master Artisan with more than 40 years of experience, you’ll learn how to create your own batik masterpiece. The process starts with drawing your design on fabric, followed by the application of the wax-resist technique. Afterward, the fabric is dyed using vibrant natural colors, and the final step involves boiling to set the colors. You’ll be guided through each stage, gaining hands-on experience with each technique.

By the end of the 2.5 to 3-hour workshop, you'll have created a unique batik piece, gaining both a new skill and an appreciation for this ancient craft. You'll leave with your own handmade creation, a lasting memento of your artistic journey through Sri Lanka's rich cultural heritage.
